About The Position
Qualicare Milton is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Personal Support Workers (PSWs)/ Caregivers. Qualicare Milton offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families. Qualicare Milton has immediate openings in Milton for a Croatian speaking or another Slavic language speaking Personal Support Workers/ Caregivers!
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around Georgetown, Milton and Acton territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Speaks Croatian or another Slavic language
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
