About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is a management company that provides hospital housekeeping, patient transport, central laundries services, and patient observation services. The company is distinguished by its patented XRO System for cleaning patient rooms, its strong operations management team, and its commitment to delivering top-quality service. This approach has led to improved cleaning quality, increased HCHAPS scores, reduced the risk of HAIs, lowered bed turnaround time, and significantly reduced costs at the hospitals it serves. Xanitos is currently hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the 3rd Shift at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. This position primarily focuses on cleaning Terminals and Operating Rooms. The individual in this role will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining facilities or locations within a healthcare campus in an orderly condition. While general responsibilities are outlined, Xanitos may assign other duties depending on business needs, client requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
Responsibilities
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
