About The Position

Responsibilities

• Supports patient safety through monitoring and observation of assigned patient or patients
• Provides continual bedside observation to assigned patient
• Ensures patient safety
• Intervenes as necessary to prevent physical harm to patients who might be at high risk to injure themselves or others due to confusion, delirium, self-destructive behavior, or a has a high predictive factors of falling
• Works with others in the healthcare team to assure prompt intervention to maintain patient safety
• Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients
