About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds, bend, reach overhead, squat and stoop.
• Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
• Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
• Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
• Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement

Responsibilities

• Load parts vehicle with daily deliveries per dispatch instructions.
• Check parts delivered against invoices and report discrepancies to the Manager.
• Collect payment, ensuring checks are accurately filled out.
• Properly account for all credit returns, matching invoice numbers for tracking.
• Obey all motor vehicle safety requirements and laws.
• Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Turn in all slips at the end of every shift.
• Keep track of vehicle maintenance, notifying the manager of any problems or required maintenance.
• Fill the delivery truck with fuel at the end of each shift.
• Wash the parts van weekly and maintain its interior cleanliness.
• Fill out the vehicle mileage sheet daily.
• Visually inspect the truck and report any new damage to the dispatcher immediately.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
