About The Position
The Blast Booth Operator operates the abrasive blasting equipment to clean and profile surfaces of trailers to prepare for powder coating.
Requirements
- Physical stamina
- Familiar with power tools
- Attention to detail while moving quickly.
- Must be able to work in dusty environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sandblasting experience or training preferred but not required.
- Experience in a powder coat shop is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Blast parts to prep for powder coat.
- Set up and operate a blast booth.
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up materials from trailer surface.
- Assist with painting or coating as needed.
