About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. We are seeking a dedicated therapist who enjoys helping residents improve functional abilities, regain independence, and build confidence through individualized therapy programs.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and create personalized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy focused on activities of daily living, upper extremity function, cognitive skills, and adaptive techniques
- Help residents improve safety, coordination, endurance, and independence with daily tasks
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab staff, physicians, and families to support patient-centered care
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
