About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of full-time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Five years of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on high-quality, evidence-based practice to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Implement new skills, equipment, and processes.
• Complete competency validation for all disciplines.
• Onboard new team members in all areas.
• Conduct training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, orientation, and new-to-specialty programs.
• Attend departmental meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical departments and manage projects as needed.
