About The Position

Behr Body & Skin Care, a leading, physician-led medical aesthetics practice in Fresno, California, founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Kathleen Behr, is seeking an Aesthetic Nurse Injector. The clinic specializes in advanced cosmetic dermatology, laser treatments, and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, with a strong emphasis on natural-looking results and personalized care. With multiple locations, Behr offers a full range of services including injectables, laser skin treatments, body contouring, and medical-grade facials, combining cutting-edge technology with a highly customized, patient-first approach. As an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, you will provide personalized treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for patients. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for enhancing patients' natural beauty. The ideal candidate will also have experience in wellness, managing patients through various holistic means such as hormone therapy, weight loss management, peptides, vitamin injections, and nutraceuticals, and will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic care.

Requirements

  • Ability to assess, treat and educate patients on overall health and wellness topics.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of health and pathology.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Treats patients and co-workers with respect.
  • Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs regarding patient treatment.
  • Current RN/NP/PA licensure in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse Injector in a MedSpa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or bedside hospital setting is required.
  • Expertise in administering injectables, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the medical team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in treatment administration, patient assessment, and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hormone health is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients seeking to have a better quality of life within their health, wellness, and fitness journey.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments.
  • Order and review lab results.
  • Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options and health lifestyle choices.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients.
  • Administer medications and injections following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines developed by the physician and physician assistant/nurse practitioner and based on the physician's delegator style.
  • Confirm with patients their clear understanding that a physician assistant/nurse practitioner is treating them.
  • Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed upon guidelines for the practice.
  • Clarify and familiarize all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician.
  • Manage patients along their health journey through various holistic means including but not limited to hormone therapy, weight loss management, peptides, vitamin injections, nutraceuticals etc.
  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care including taking medical histories, performing examinations, developing a treatment plan, and performing procedures and lab draws.
