Newborn Hearing Screener Jobs

The Newborn Hearing Screener works in the Baptist Health Lexington Mother/Baby Unit in Lexington, Kentucky. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or another licensed care team member, the role provides direct patient care and support services to patients and families. It performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel with patient examinations, treatment, and overall care. The Mother/Baby Unit has 42 private rooms and provides patient-centered postpartum care for mothers and babies. The team includes Newborn Assessment Nurses and certified lactation consultants, and supports families through care, education, and guidance to help make the transition home smooth.
