About The Position
NorthStar is looking for a Medical Director Anesthesiologist to lead the Mercy St. Vincent team. Mercy St. Vincent is a level 1 Trauma center in the heart of Toledo, Ohio. Exceptional compensation and benefits package offered! The Medical Director of Anesthesia is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between NorthStar, hospital administration and anesthesia staff. This person is responsible for assuring the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of medical staff services at his/her facility. The Medical Director will be responsible for the medical leadership, clinical oversight and patient care for the anesthesia department. Cases Include: Cardiac, Vascular, Kidney Transplants, GI, General, OB/GYN, Neuro, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Pediatrics. High-risk OB, Level 3 Neonatal ICU & Trauma. Care Team Model.
Requirements
- Medical Director Anesthesiologist
- Cardiac Fellowship preferred
- 17 hour in house call split between 9 physicians
