About The Position

Requirements

• Journeyman certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience and low volt electric experience is required
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Standard electrical tool set is required

Nice To Haves

• Vocational Degree or beyond in electrical field is preferred
• Previous operation of heavy equipment is a plus (Telehandlers, skid steers, loaders etc.)
• Ability to ski or snowboard is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain the daily operations of all AC and DC motors and drive systems, as well as all low volt control systems
• Understand maintenance recommendations of all ski lift manufacture by interpreting schematics and manufactures manuals.
• Understand and follow all ANSI, State, and Federal Regulations
• Use of considerable judgment to determine actions to be taken
• Willing and able to participate in all maintenance needs.
• Respond to calls from Lift Operations, Ski Patrol, and Dispatch in a timely manner
• Maintain a positive attitude consistently, including during high stress situations.
• Able to work concurrently with all Resort staff and encourage a productive work environment.
