About The Position
The CNC Machinist plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining CNC Mill and/or Lathe machines to produce precision components. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of machining processes to ensure that all parts meet stringent quality standards. The machinist will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications to set up and adjust machines accordingly. Additionally, they will monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and efficiency. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts the overall production quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with CNC Mill/Turn machines.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, which are essential for setting up and operating grinding machines effectively.
- Attention to detail is critical, as the machinist must ensure that all components meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Problem-solving skills are also important, as the machinist will need to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments is necessary for conducting quality inspections of finished products.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in CNC machining or related field.
- Set up experience required
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, enhance the machinist's ability to interpret designs and optimize machining processes.
