Swiss Machinist II - 2nd Shift
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced machinist who can own setups, troubleshoot confidently, and keep quality on target—all in a clean, air-conditioned shop. Your role Independently set up and run multi-axis Swiss CNC machines on intermediate-complexity jobs. Read prints, interpret G and M code, and adjust tooling and offsets to maintain tight tolerances. Inspect parts using microscopes, precision measuring tools, vision systems, and CMMs. Use SPC data to monitor quality, reduce scrap, and meet production goals. Keep production records accurate, communicate across shifts, and support less-experienced machinists.
Requirements
- 3+ years in CNC Swiss machining
- Independent setup and troubleshooting skills
- Strong blueprint-reading, shop math, and precision measurement skills
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Medical manufacturing experience
- Machining training or equivalent experience preferred
