About The Position

Lead the shift. Solve the tough jobs. Build a stronger team. Bring your Swiss machining expertise to a hands-on leadership role making precision medical components. We’re looking for a lead who can own setups, keep production on track, and coach machinists to do their best work—all in a clean, air-conditioned shop.

Requirements

• 7+ years in CNC Swiss machining
• Independent setup skills and strong knowledge of Swiss machines and controls.
• The ability to coach teammates, communicate clearly, and balance competing priorities.
• Strong blueprint-reading, shop math, and precision measurement skills.
• High school diploma or GED, plus machine trades training or equivalent work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• medical manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run Swiss CNC machines with up to nine axes, using G and M code and some macro programming knowledge.
• Guide daily production to meet quality, output, and scrap targets.
• Coach and train machinists and operators, reinforcing consistent practices across shifts.
• Verify tight tolerances using microscopes, precision measuring tools, vision systems, and CMMs.
• Use SPC data to guide offsets and tool changes, and maintain part quality.
• Keep production and training records accurate, communicate clear shift handoffs, and escalate concerns.
• Support attendance expectations, performance reviews, and hiring interviews.
