About The Position
A Lube Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment. Be ready and willing to perform additional tasks or duties as needed or requested by management.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be able to lift items up to 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and computers.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of car parts and the tools used for cars.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
- Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor liaison
- Complete multipoint inspection worksheet
- Maintain value, quality, and integrity
- Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards
- Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers
