About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN license in the State of Iowa (or active Compact/NLC state license).
• Active CPR / BLS certification.
• 1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, and Nights).
• Strong communication with residents' families, multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Nice To Haves

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Hands-on experience with advanced wound care or palliative care principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and accurately document resident responses in the EHR.
• Perform routine procedures, wound care, and dressing changes following established care plans.
• Identify and report changes in resident condition to RNs, physicians, and family members.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and rehabilitation plans in coordination with CNAs and therapists.
• Maintain strict safety protocols and uphold state and facility compliance standards.
