About The Position
Rome Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work within the hospital.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Mental Health disorders
- Ability to create effective safety plans
- Ability to complete suicidal/homicidal assessments
- Ability to utilize various therapeutic interventions
- Ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient centered care
- Knowledge of the DSM - 5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis
- Knowledge of Professional Standards/ Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulations
- Knowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes
- Ability to know the family dynamic of the cases as needed
- LMSW, LCSW, OR LMHC required
Responsibilities
- Providing individual, group and/or family sessions
- Providing psychotherapy, intake screenings and clinical assessments
- Safety planning and providing treatment recommendations
- Assisting patients with treatment planning
- Utilizing evidenced based assessments and treatment approaches
- Providing case management, linkage and referrals as appropriate
