About The Position
Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Men's Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Therapist at our Orem, Utah clinic. In this onsite role, you'll work directly with male individuals navigating substance use challenges in a supportive, client-centered environment. You'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team that values compassion, innovation, and real impact—while still offering a flexible, balanced work culture where your clinical voice matters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
- Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
- Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with substance use disorders preferred.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a stipend.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices for substance use treatment
- Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document services and client progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous quality improvement
- Maintain professional, ethical, and safety standards in all clinical work
