About The Position

Marmot Basin is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives and events that drive visitation and strengthen the Marmot Basin brand. Working closely with the marketing and sales team, this seasonal position plays an integral role in bringing campaigns to life across digital, print, social media, partnerships, events, and on-mountain experiences. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coordinating event logistics, creating engaging content, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on variety, and wants to help showcase one of Canada's premier ski destinations located in the heart of Jasper National Park. The contract dates of this role will be early November thru early May.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate marketing projects from concept through completion.
  • Create and schedule engaging organic content across social media platforms.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including content creation and distribution.
  • Update website content and ensure information remains current.
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral including brochures, signage, advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with photography and videography coordination, asset management, and content organization.
  • Support digital advertising campaigns and monitor campaign performance.
  • Track campaign metrics and prepare marketing reports.
  • Help maintain brand standards across all communications.
  • Assist in coordination of resort events from planning through execution.
  • Assist with logistics including permits, suppliers, entertainment, equipment, signage, and staffing.
  • Coordinate sponsor and partner activations.
  • Provide assistance to the Staff Committee for event planning & execution requirements.
  • Support race events, community events, promotional activations, and special resort experiences.
  • Manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets.
  • Assist with post-event evaluations and reporting.
  • Coordinate marketing deliverables with tourism partners, sponsors, and community organizations.
  • Assist with cooperative marketing initiatives.
  • Support travel trade, media, and influencer visits.
  • Maintain partner communications and marketing calendars.
  • Maintain project schedules and marketing calendars.
  • Coordinate ordering of promotional merchandise and printed materials.
  • Manage marketing inventories and storage.
  • Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.
  • Support internal communications and departmental administration.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
