About The Position

The Engineering Specialist II is responsible for applying intermediate engineering principles to produce accurate and precise calculations and design deliverables. This role requires knowledge of transmission and distribution materials associated with basic and intermediate project designs. The specialist will utilize design software to create designs compliant with all codes and client standards, perform material selection and takeoffs, and review project specifications, requirements, and standards. Collaboration with the Design Team is essential to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time. The role also involves coordinating with other team members to ensure design intent is transferred to design drawings, and establishing, promoting, and assuring quality on all projects and work performed. Supporting a safety culture and demonstrating safe work practices are also key responsibilities. The position may provide technical oversight on basic project tasks.
