About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security systems installation and management.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and insurable driving record required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain industry-recognized certifications within a specified timeframe (e.g., Texas Department of Public Safety Security Installer License, Level 1 certification for Class B license, and required state test for Company Representative in the Texas private security program covering Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1702 and Texas Administrative Code Chapter 35 ).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, management, and regulatory bodies.
• Skilled in preparing clear and accurate price quotations and proposals.
• In-depth knowledge of Corporate Security and Surveillance Systems.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN and IT concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in creating cost estimates and managing budgets.

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications in networking or security (CompTIA Security+, Network+, etc.) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of Security Systems Technicians and related personnel.
• Serve as Designated Officer and Primary Company Representative for regulatory compliance, licensing, and audits related to security systems.
• Develop and maintain security system standards, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and oversee installation, configuration, and integration of video surveillance and access control systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations for security systems.
• Prepare and deliver price quotations for customer deployments, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Provide technical expertise and resolve escalated issues related to security systems.
• Maintain documentation of system designs, configurations, and maintenance schedules.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices and compliance requirements.
