About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must possess a valid trades license – Ontario or Journeyman Certificate of Qualification for the trade of Electrician.
• Able to communicate clearly in English (both verbal and written).
• Receptive to new ideas, change, and continual improvement. Capable of moving ideas into actions.
• Creative problem-solving skills are essential.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment problems.
• General knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Must own Toolbox/Tools to carry out tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with overhead cranes, tow motors, aerial lifts, and measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, height indicators).

Responsibilities

• Repairing, troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, dismantling, calibrating, and overhauling machinery.
• Using plans and blueprints to carry out installations.
• Performing equipment overhauls.
• Implementing improvements using both hand and power tools.
• Adhering to scheduled tasks in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Conducting preventative maintenance inspections to ensure machines meet company performance standards.
