About The Position

Requirements

• Journeyman electrician.
• 3–5 years of experience; industrial-setting experience is preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check as a condition of employment.
• Be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employer visa sponsorship is not available.
• Be able to wear required personal protective equipment and meet applicable customer, site, regulatory, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
• Meet the role's physical and functional demands, including mobility, reaching, working in varied positions, climbing stairs, working at heights, and balancing for extended periods.
• May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work on uneven surfaces or in confined spaces.
• Have sufficient visual, hearing, communication, and motor skills to safely perform job responsibilities.
• Be able to read, comprehend, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies; exercise sound judgment, solve problems, maintain attention to detail, manage stress, and adapt to changing priorities.
• No minimum education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment, including motors, motor starters, push-button stations, circuit breakers, and disconnects.
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems and perform quality testing and inspections.
• Install raceways and cable tray systems.
• Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other components on low- and high-voltage equipment.
• Install and maintain lighting, fire detection, communication, clock, motor control, machine tool, conveying, process, and distributive control systems.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects, determine the need for adjustment or repair, and ensure code compliance.
• Advise management on whether continued equipment operation could be hazardous.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure system compatibility and safety.
• Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair controlling, indicating, and measuring instrumentation devices to ensure specified operating performance.
• Wear required personal protective equipment while performing job duties.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity expectations while performing assigned duties.
