About The Position
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundskeeper to join our team! The right candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping our properties looking sharp year-round, and is comfortable operating a variety of equipment.
Requirements
- Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to operate a variety of power equipment safely and precisely
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures
- Weekend availability required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- All applicants will undergo a mandatory drug screening and background check as a condition of employment
Responsibilities
- Mow and edge lawns, trim shrubs, prune trees, and maintain all landscaped areas across dealership properties
- Operate powered equipment including riding mowers, tractors, tillers, snow blowers, Bobcat machinery, and utility vehicles
- Clear sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots of snow and ice; apply salt and deicer as needed
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using hand or automatic sprayers and spreaders
- Conduct regular property inspections; repair fences, fill holes, and remove debris and trash from grounds
- Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures using hand and power tools
- Clean windows, maintain outdoor lighting fixtures, and assist with facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Weekend availability required, including Saturdays and Sundays
