About The Position

The Junior Financial Analyst supports all aspects of planning, budgeting, and execution of awarded and future government contracts. Additionally, you will analyze and provide reports on financial tracking, and current fiscal year activity. Program Duties and Responsibilities: Show up daily with an eagerness to learn and grow your current knowledge base and skillsets. Support ad-hoc analyses, data reconciliations, and support tasks. Provide insight to the Senior FA team regarding the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecast for assigned contracts. Conduct a timely and accurate review of employee timesheets Support contract set up including development of charge numbers and completion of project work authorizations for employee workforce management. Support customer meetings including syncs with Government customers and monthly/quarterly financial reviews as required. Promote the protection of all sensitive data. Handle day-to-day situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to short-suspense taskers.

Requirements

  • An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar business degree. A lessor or different degree, combined with experience that exceeds the minimum requirements, will also be considered.
  • BS 0-2 Years
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup) and maintain a self-learning attitude towards expanding your skillsets using this tool.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are a must.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders including Senior Management, Program Managers, Government POCs, and colleagues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, active clearance preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn DELTEK COSTPOINT accounting tool.
