About The Position

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for assessing projects by identifying project requirements, including time, labor, and material costs. This role involves reading blueprints and other applicable documents to prepare estimates, collaborating with contractors, engineers, and architects for accuracy, and acting as the final authority in estimate calculations. The position also requires presenting estimates professionally, recommending cost-reduction options, assisting the sales team, and maintaining thorough project documentation. Additionally, the role includes managing truck inventory, completing vehicle reports, and undertaking other projects as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must clear a drug screening.
  • Industry knowledge and/or experience.
  • Working knowledge of local/national codes.
  • Proficiency in Everonl’s product offerings.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability”.
  • Must be able to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.

  • Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform job site walks as needed.
  • Assess projects by identifying project requirements, regarding time, labor, and material costs.
  • Read blueprints and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare estimates.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy.
  • Act as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates.
  • Present estimates to sales and management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recommend cost-reduction options.
  • Assist sales team in final project preparation transactions.
  • Maintain thorough records of all project documentation, including estimates, receipts, and project completion documentation.
  • Maintain accurate truck inventory to ensure timely responses to customers’ needs.
  • Complete monthly vehicle reports in a timely manner.
  • Complete other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.
