About The Position
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Fire Services. We are seeking an EMT/Firefighter for our Antioch contract. The primary role of the EMT/Firefighter is to deliver medical care and transportation at the EMT-Basic (EMT-B) level, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or the EMS Commission of Illinois.
Requirements
- EMT License
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
- 1 year experience
- CPR Certified
- 21 Years of age
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- ACLS (Metro will train)
- PALS (Metro will train)
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT/Firefighter (EMT-B) level.
- Operate within the scope of practice as stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
