Requirements

  • Valid EMT-Advanced certification or higher from an accredited program
  • Current CPR instructor certification and experience in CPR instruction
  • Prior experience in emergency medical services preferred
  • Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, protocols, and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation to patients in pre-hospital settings
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patient conditions to determine appropriate interventions
  • Administer medications and advanced airway management as per protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and transport details
  • Conduct CPR training sessions and serve as a CPR instructor to staff and community members
  • Deliver EMS training and educational programs to enhance team skills and community awareness
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and ready for use
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services
