About The Position
The Electrician I is responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, upgrading electrical devices and equipment, as well as general plant facilities modernization. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Three to five years of manufacturing experience in the electrical craft
- Three to five years work experience with troubleshooting, decommissioning and installation of equipment
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Meet license requirements for powered material handling equipment (Lift trucks, JLG's, Scissor Lift)
- Basic computer aptitude
Nice To Haves
- Tech school certificate preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics
- Estimate, procure parts, modify and install electrical equipment
- Maintain housekeeping
- Comply with safety rules including lock out/ tag out procedures
- Comply with environmental regulations
- Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed
- Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability
- Perform other duties as assigned
