Amazon Media Senior Manager

About The Position

The Amazon Media Senior Manager is responsible for leading and executing the Amazon media strategy in complete alignment with our agency, brand, and retail objectives. The media strategy must be tailored by brand to drive sales, revenue growth, and customer acquisition for all APUS brands. This role oversees all aspects of the Amazon media, including holistic planning in collaboration with brand national media. This role will ensure alignment, communication, reporting, and decision making across all stakeholder groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, digital media, or a quantitative discipline.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search (Amazon Sponsored Ads, Google Ads) and programmatic (Amazon DSP)
  • Amazon Advertising (Search & DSP) & Google Ads Certified.

  • Digital Marketing agency experience supporting skincare and beauty brands a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Amazon advertising, agencies, and internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive marketing strategies covering paid search, display, programmatic, and social media advertising.
  • Generate, develop, & scale search campaigns & programmatic ad buys across Amazon Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP to meet channel business targets.
  • Drive performance and efficiency of Amazon search campaigns and DSP orders, focusing on metrics such as ad spend, sales, ROAS, CPC, CTR, NTB%, and conversion rate.
  • Create and execute strategic media plans for major Amazon events like Prime Day.
  • Understand the consumer journey and marketing/sales funnel dynamics.
  • Manage complex catalogs and large media budgets efficiently while meeting monthly targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and implementation based on promotional calendar and seasonal needs.
  • Align and collaborate with brand media team on investment levels and holistic planning
  • Work with Amazon advertising to analyze campaign data, audit/optimize search & DSP, build and test new ad types, and provide actionable insights & recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Provide finance with monthly billing and reporting as required.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with monthly reporting
  • SEO optimization recommendation submission to brand team and agency
  • Coordinate and lead meetings amongst key stakeholders to proper alignment
