Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join Prader-Willi Homes that has open availability to work 1st and 2nd shifts! Competitive pay starting at $19/hour and a full benefits package. Prader-Willi Homes, a MyPath Company, has been a trusted provider of residential services for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) for nearly 40 years. PWS is a complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism, cognitive function, and behavior. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred (e.g., group homes, schools, day programs).
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • An acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely transport clients in company-provided van.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration tailored to residents’ needs while in a group home setting.
  • Support residents in structured daily activities to promote skill development and goal achievement.
  • Ensure residents’ safety and welfare, follow safety protocols, and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
  • Complete progress reports, incident logs, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with staff and residents, addressing concerns and providing proactive support.
  • Uphold residents’ rights and report any suspected abuse or grievances immediately.
