CanaDream is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support our Operations Support Manager in keeping our national day-to-day office operations running smoothly. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary coursework in Business Administration is an asset.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an office or customer service environment preferred.
  • Medium to high proficiency in current Microsoft Office applications, with strong familiarity using internet‑based tools and systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask is critical.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, internal communications, and document preparation.
  • Mail & Courier Handling: Help receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare and track outgoing shipments.
  • Office Supplies: Monitor inventory and assist with ordering, organising and distributing supplies.
  • Uniform Coordination: Organize, track, distribute, and maintain the documentation of staff uniforms.
  • Event Support: Coordinate office social events and activities and assist in arranging and organizing corporate level events.
  • Travel Assistance: Assist with booking travel and tracking related expenses.
  • Fleet Support: Provide support for fleet movements and monitor related expenses.
  • Team Collaboration: Support team members to support various projects and tasks as requested
  • Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
