About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Four or more years of experience in Security Operations, Risk Analysis, Bank Operations, Investigations, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, or a related Military position.
• Superlative research and critical thinking skills to identify, collect, and evaluate data and draw logical, actionable conclusions.
• Experience conducting complex investigations and interviews, preparing cases, and presenting cases to federal, state, and local authorities.
• Knowledge of physical security procedures, emergency management, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Proven leadership ability to make time-sensitive, high-pressure decisions while coordinating multiple, dispersed work streams or teams.
• Strong decision-making ability during emergency situations and demonstrated ability to influence peer business partners.
• Demonstrated proficiency with basic applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Nice To Haves

• Corporate security experience conducting workplace violence investigations, behavioral threat assessments, or managing cases involving concerning or threatening workplace behavior.
• Experience participating in or supporting a multidisciplinary behavioral threat assessment, threat management, workplace violence prevention, or employee safety team in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of behavioral threat assessment and management principles, including identification and evaluation of behavioral, situational, and protective factors associated with targeted violence risk.
• Experience developing and implementing case-specific threat management and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with Human Resources, Employee/Teammate Relations, Legal, Ethics, Corporate Security, business leadership, mental health resources, and law enforcement.
• Career experience in corporate security, local, state, or federal law enforcement, military intelligence, or another investigative environment involving the investigation and mitigation of threat actors.
• Experience with Security and Intelligence Operations systems for intelligence gathering, investigations, case management, geospatial monitoring, risk monitoring, and mass communication.
• Experience with security systems for video monitoring, access control, and visitor management.
• Professional certifications or specialized training in behavioral threat assessment, threat management, workplace violence prevention, Physical Security, Investigations, Intelligence, Emergency Management, or Risk Management, such as CPP, PSP, or CEM.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the organization meets its Duty of Care obligation to teammates.
• Conduct behavioral threat and workplace violence investigations involving concerning, threatening, intimidating, or potentially violent behaviors and communications.
• Gather and evaluate information from multiple sources, conduct interviews, identify behavioral and situational risk factors, document findings, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Corporate Security, Teammate Relations, Human Resources, Legal, Ethics, business leadership, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to assess and manage individuals or situations of concern.
• Participate in a periodic on-call rotation to provide after-hours investigative and physical security incident response support.
• Investigate, analyze, and report on physical security hazards and risks, including criminal violations, short-fused weather events, civil disruption, travel risk, geopolitical events, and social media risk.
• Lead and coordinate enterprise responses to physical security incidents, behavioral threats, and other emerging risks.
• Develop and coordinate risk mitigation and protective measures through resolution.
• Prepare investigative reports, case summaries, intelligence products, and executive briefings that communicate facts, risk factors, mitigation measures, investigative limitations, and actionable recommendations.
• Provide real-time updates to Senior Leadership or Executive Management regarding significant investigations and emerging risks.
• Support the Executive Protection program through monitoring, investigation, intelligence gathering, and assessment of threats or concerning activity involving protected individuals.
• Administer and enhance SIOC risk intelligence, investigative, crisis, and response software programs, policies, and procedures.
• Manage sensitive investigations independently and contribute to an agile, collaborative team in a fast-paced and variable environment.
