About The Position

The Site Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew, and Related Services (CMMARS) contract, providing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for the Multi-Mission Helicopter Program, PMA-299, Naval Air Systems Command in Rota, Spain. This role involves organizational/Intermediate/Depot Level maintenance and support for MH-60R & MH-60S (A/C), aircraft systems, support systems, and Support & Test Equipment (S&TE). The Site Manager will oversee daily maintenance operations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), coordinating and managing technical and administrative operations to ensure weapon systems are available to meet operational requirements. The position requires ensuring Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) meet or exceed contract performance requirements and providing expertise on technical, logistical matters, and effective CMS utilization. Maintenance programs must be coordinated in accordance with all applicable Navy maintenance management documents and directives.

Requirements

  • 10 years of current or previous experience managing a multidiscipline workforce for major aircraft inspections/repair, organizational maintenance, aircrew flight operations, and training.
  • Experience as a Site Manager/Supervisor/Lead, providing all necessary management and administrative functions for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the site.
  • Experience as a Site Manager/Supervisor/Lead responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • All employees must be issued a Tarjeta Especial de Identificacion (TEI) to be granted base access.
  • Ability to provide appropriate proof of identity and eligibility to work.
  • Satisfactory references and background check.
  • Successful passing of a pre-employment drug test.
  • Ability to obtain any required clearance by the effective start date, if needed.
  • KAI commencing performance on this contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with a minimum of 20 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience supporting H-60 aircraft.
  • Eight years of experience as a Maintenance Officer or senior maintenance NCO responsible for the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience supervising aircraft maintenance support requirements or civilian equivalents.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single interface with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and submit required reports, including Certificate Of Completion and Acceptance (COCA), Certificate of Service (COS), Manning Reports, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), etc.
  • Act as the primary interface with the Corporate Program Manager and submit required reports, including COCA, COS, Manning Reports, Weekly Activity Report, Payroll, and CDRL.
  • Function as the primary interface with the Corporate Director of Quality and submit required reports.
  • Provide local oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS), training, and safety programs.
  • Be accountable for assigned Company Owned Property, Government Furnished Property, and Government Furnished Equipment.
  • Document all work performed on appropriate forms, electronic databases, and definitive sheets as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
