About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time RN to join our team! Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area’s most vulnerable populations. We are seeking a Full Time RN for our London, Ohio location. This individual will assist several providers with exams, blood draws, injections, assisting in referrals to specialists, patient education and medication refills. Fast-paced but manageable work environment with knowledgeable support staff who assist with processes and procedures. This opportunity has a generous compensation package.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio
  • CPR certification required
  • Current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Knowledge of Database software
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the role of Federally Qualified Health Centers as a safety net for all persons without regard for their ability to pay for services
  • Appreciate patient-centered care in a medical home
  • Committed to quality, comprehensive services through a team approach
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Understand the privacy policies and procedures
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel, and talk and hear
  • Frequently required to walk
  • Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands, arms, and smell
  • Must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • Applicable life support training (PALS/ACLS) preferred
