About The Position
The CMM Programmer III will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts daily while also writing and verifying CMM programs for production. This role involves both hands-on inspection and programming responsibilities to ensure high-quality products. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- CMM programming and operating experience (Zeiss CMM, Calypso software)
- Experience with various inspection tools (microscope, height gauges, micrometers, calipers)
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and other common industry standards
- Basic computer skills (file creation, saving, printing) and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
Nice To Haves
- Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Epicor ERP 10 or similar management/manufacturing information system
- Calypso Training Certificate (Basic & Advanced)
- SolidWorks basic working knowledge
Responsibilities
- Write CMM programs offline and follow through to set-up and program verification for production
- Write CMM programs online to inspect finished products and process inspection
- Collaborate with other programmers and operators to achieve results
- Prove out data for nonconforming items
- Ensure there are no issues with fixturing and work with engineering groups to produce the best fixturing
- Follow the program through the first set-up and run to ensure accuracy
- Be actively involved in troubleshooting discrepancies and validating discrepancies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
