About The Position

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC, a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits. Services include Psychiatric/Psychological Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy & Counseling, and Neuropsychological Testing Services. The team includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and licensed therapists, serving adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. Patients are treated with compassion and respect, with a focus on individualized care.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D.)
  • Must have a license in the state of Florida or in the process of getting one

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in conducting Neurocognitive and Neuropsychological Testing is preferred
  • Work Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
  • Option to provide psychotherapy & counseling services only, neuropsychological testing only, or a combination of both services

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
  • Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
  • Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
  • Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
