This position is responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist in the planning, development, organization, evaluation, and directing of occupational therapy activities. The role involves facilitating Telehealth services, communicating with staff from related departments, and maintaining occupational therapy standards of practice. Key duties include interpreting procedures, participating in care conferences, assisting with home programs, and maintaining documentation. The position also ensures accurate billing and timely completion of notes, and performs administrative duties as needed. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will report any questions or concerns to the Director of Rehabilitation and/or supervising Occupational Therapist.
