About The Position

Requirements

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing basic care to residents
• Assisting residents in daily living activities
• Providing personal hygiene
• Assisting with dressing
• Assisting with housekeeping
• Assisting with laundry
• Assisting with social-recreational activities
• Assisting with meal services
• Performing other duties and services as assigned within the community
• Collaborating and assisting in supporting the entire nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
