About The Position

Avante at Mt. Dora is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. Full-time and part-time positions are available for the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift, with a shift differential offered. The position is based at a skilled nursing facility in Mount Dora, Florida.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, or be in training to satisfactorily complete those requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have completed high school or a GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
• Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course.
• Positive attitude toward elderly people.
• Must be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
• Must complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
