About The Position

Avante at Mt. Dora is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The role also helps maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. Full-time and part-time positions are available on the 7 a.m.–3 p.m. shift, with a shift differential offered. The facility offers daily pay, allowing employees to get paid on the day they work.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, or be in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have completed high school or a GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
Must have previous experience or have completed an appropriate training course.
Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
Must be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
Must complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
