About The Position

Avante at Ormond Beach is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. Full-time and part-time positions are available for the 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift, with a shift differential offered. Avante also offers daily pay: work today and get paid today. The role is based at Avante at Ormond Beach, a skilled nursing facility in Ormond Beach, Florida. Candidates must meet certification or training requirements, be at least 18, and satisfy the stated education, experience or training, and background-screening qualifications.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, or be in training to satisfactorily complete those requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have completed high school or a GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
Must have previous experience or have completed an appropriate training course.
Must have a positive attitude toward elderly people.
Must be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
Must complete background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
