About The Position

Avante at Orlando is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and help maintain a positive physical, social, and psychological environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available for the 7 a.m.–3 p.m. shift at the skilled nursing facility in Orlando, Florida. The position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Requirements

Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet applicable federal and state certification requirements, or be in training to satisfactorily complete those requirements in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have completed high school or a GED equivalent, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English.
Have previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course.
Have a positive attitude toward elderly people.
Be eligible for clearance through the abuse registry and Department of Law Enforcement.
Complete required background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
