Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Current TSPC Licensure with Special Education endorsement.
• The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or background
• Strong ability for collaboration
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of 2nd language acquisition
• Good communication skills, written and oral
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District
• Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices for all students.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements an instructional program that fosters learning and growth for students with disabilities.
• Creates a supportive learning environment that enables acquisition of skills and knowledge.
• Guides students toward reaching their academic, social, intellectual and physical potential.
• Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons.
