About The Position
We're seeking a Machine Builder / Machinist to assemble equipment per mechanical drawings, operate a range of machine shop equipment, and support production programs from build through completion.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Intermediate proficiency reading part and assembly drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on/under machines at a steady pace
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain Forklift, Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out/Tag Out certifications
- Own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job
- Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time, potentially domestic and international

- Related vocational education preferred
Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment per mechanical drawings
- Document and communicate changes and problems as they arise
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Execute ISO Quality standards
- Communicate with the Machine Build Lead on open issues and build progress
- Support program success on cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Assist with preparing material for secondary processes (finishing, heat treat, deburring)
- Effectively and safely operate mills, lathes, drills, presses, surface grinders, saws, and shears
