About The Position

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Licensed in the state of South Carolina.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasound school.

Nice To Haves

• Previous breast imaging experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in the Breast Center according to radiologist protocols.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and process images.
• Prepare the procedure room and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Select appropriate technical factors and produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Perform clerical duties, scheduling, transportation, supply ordering, inventory, and cleaning as needed.
• Directly supervise students when assigned by the area supervisor, remaining readily available throughout the shift.
