About The Position

The Ultrasound Tech operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The role provides patient services using ultrasound equipment and requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. The technologist provides care to patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Complete an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT.
• ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.
• For Breast Ultrasound licensure, registration through ARRT (BS) or ARDMS is acceptable.
