About The Position

A DSV Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, team development, and financial management. The role demands both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the freight forwarding industry, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and delegation skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • High level of initiative and personal accountability.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive branch growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones
  • Ensure excellent customer service by fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Regularly visit key clients to identify opportunities for further business development
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
  • Use financial reports to manage cash flow, improve transportation yield, and control expenses
  • Focus on driving profitable growth by increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep the branch competitive in the freight forwarding market
  • Leverage market insights to adapt and enhance the branch’s operational performance
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align branch goals with overall company objectives
  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and constructive feedback within the branch
  • Travel as required
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with the company’s mission
