About The Position

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in building end-to-end reports and interactive visualizations.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex DAX and M-Query formulas, measures, and calculated columns.
• Proven ability to structure and link data efficiently for optimal report performance.
• Mastery of advanced Excel formulas and functions for data analysis and validation.
• Specific expertise in creating, managing, and extracting data seamlessly from SharePoint environments.
• Strong capability to examine raw data and synthesize it into clear trends, outliers, and actionable business intelligence.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and consistency between dashboards and source systems.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of ten (10) years Federal Government experience as military, civilian, or contractor.
• Extensive experience in data cleaning, shaping, and transformation using Power Query.
• Experience working with and briefing senior level DoD personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Power Automate for automating data pipeline refreshes and notification triggers.
• PL-300 or DA-100 Certification.
• Experience in Federal Government acquisition, financial management and/or audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive Power BI reports and dashboards, managing the entire lifecycle from initial data connection to final visualization.
• Utilize Power Query for advanced data cleaning and transformation, converting complex, unstructured data into clean, structured models.
• Organize and connect different data sources efficiently so that reports load quickly and retrieve accurate information.
• Write and maintain complex DAX and M-Query formulas, including calculated columns and measures, to support deep analytical requirements.
• Manage data extraction and integration, with a specific focus on utilizing and pulling data from SharePoint Lists.
• Implement workflow automations using Power Automate to schedule data refreshes and trigger necessary alerts or notifications.
• Conduct rigorous validation checks to ensure absolute data accuracy, ensuring that dashboard metrics perfectly align with source files.
• Analyze raw data sets to identify emerging trends, spot outliers, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
