About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role requires adherence to company standards, legal regulations regarding alcohol service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. The Bartender must be able to work efficiently during busy periods, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and ability to verify guest age and identification.
  • Proficiency in processing various payment methods (cash, credit card, mobile).
  • Familiarity with beverage menus, promotions, and venue policies.
  • Ability to restock bar supplies efficiently.
  • Understanding of responsible alcohol service guidelines and ability to refuse service when necessary.
  • Skills in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area.
  • Ability to work efficiently during high-volume periods.
  • Experience with opening and closing procedures, including inventory and cleaning.
  • Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with supervisors and team members.
  • Professionalism in addressing guest concerns and escalating issues.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards and recipes.
  • Verify guest age and identification to ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
  • Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and venue policies.
  • Restock bar supplies, liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, cups, and ice throughout shifts.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Keep bar areas clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.
  • Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and cleaning duties.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
